The Coachella festival is one of the most famous ones in the world attracting hundred thousands travellers from all over the world. Those travellers are primarily important for the economy in the desert and especially for the nearby cities. But with a lot of tourists there are also consequences regarding the nature as well as rising prices for locals. That is the reason why the opportunities and threats are analyzed in more detail. In the last chapter the influence of the climate change is identified.
