In this term paper, I will deal with the cultural differences between Germany and France. As an Erasmus student from Germany, this topic is of particular interest to me and has already accompanied me intensively before my stay in Paris as a preparation for the semester abroad. In the last section, I will share my own opinion and thoughts on this topic.
To structure my text in a meaningful way, I will refer to some cultural dimensions outlined by Edward T. Hall, Geert Hofstede as well as Fons Trompenaars and Charles Hampden-Turner and apply them to France and Germany.
