Abstract or Introduction
This dissertation assessed the status of social capital and educational outcomes of Senior High School 4P's scholastic grantees at West and North District in Mandaue City Division during school year 2019-2020 as basis for policy note.
Specifically, this study answered the following sub-problems: What is the profile of the 4P's educational grantees in terms of the following aspects? What is the educational outcome of 4Ps scholastic grantees in the SY 2019-2020? Is there significant relationship between the 4P's scholastic grantees’ profile aspects and their educational performance? What are the challenges and barriers in achieving the effective implementation of the 4P’s? Based on the findings, what policy note can be formulated?
This study employed a descriptive survey method on the educational outcomes of the senior high school 4 Ps scholastic grantees grade 11 and grade 12 at West and North District in Mandaue City Division. This study was conducted in the selected schools in Mandaue City Division specifically in West District and North District where senior high school
was adopted. The Senior High School schools in Mandaue City Division West II District are Canduman National High School,Tingub National High School and Mandaue City School for the Arts .Canduman National High School is one of the
big schools in Mandaue City Division. Tingub National High School is a medium school and also Mandaue City School for the Arts. North district school with senior high school department are Jagobiao National High School and Labogon
National High School.Labogon and Jagobiao National High School are also considered as big school in Mandaue City Division. Research
