Excerpt from the Book

I Love You’s Web-Game Program: Themes, Content, Navigability, Layout and User Interface

Constituting the heart of the present concept proposal, this section will now provide a detailed description of the proposed web game program proposed herein. To start with, the proposed structural themes will be critical to its success in audience engagement. Key to the web game therefore, will be level-based themes for an engaging gameplay. The themes will help highlight the core features of the exhibition with graphic enhancements. Further, the game will be presented in the form of an interactive exchange in which the audience participates while progressing in the exhibition. As such, progress will be based on user commands in response to respective exhibition themes such as love, adventure, color analysis or landscape symmetry.

In effect, the audience's understanding of the core concepts of the exhibition will be enhanced progressively and with a lasting effect, a primary aim or goal of the museum. The player's sense of participation and interaction with the exhibition will be critically essential for an enhanced engagement. Functions enabling the users to share their progress via social media or email will be enabled with icons and a pop-up camera, in between or at the last level of the game. All these thematic designs will be integrated to complement and deepen the experience, engagement and understanding of the theme of ‘love’ among the others in the exhibition, for every individual audience.
