The main objective of this study is to assess and look into the environmental pollution in the market area of Effurun in Nigeria. The health and well-being of the locals of Effurun Market, as well as the local ecosystem are seriously threatened by environmental degradation. By addressing this issue, the study hopes to create a community that is healthier and more sustainable.
The analysis will contribute to the creation of successful plans for pollution management and mitigation and offer insightful information on the level of pollution in the market region, including noise, water, and air pollution. The results of this study show that the pollution is primarily caused by improper waste management practises, including the indiscriminate dumping of solid waste and the discharge of untreated wastewater.
It is evident from various studies that the pollutants in this region are primarily due to improper waste disposal practises.To address this issue, it is crucial for the local government and relevant stakeholders to implement effective waste management strategies, promote awareness and education on environmental conservation, and enforce strict regulations to prevent further pollution.
