The Role of Technology in Workplace Spirituality: The book explores the role of technology in facilitating workplace spirituality. It introduces new concepts such as "digital mindfulness" and "virtual spirituality" and provide guidance on how to integrate technology in workplace spirituality practices.
This book brings also several new frameworks to measure workplace spirituality impact on employees and leaders such as Spiritual Values Assessment (SVA) and Workplace Spirituality Climate Survey (WSCS)
In practice, this book can be useful for managers, leaders, and employees who are interested in incorporating workplace spirituality into their organizations. It provides practical insights and examples of how workplace spirituality can be implemented in organizations, and how it can benefit both individual employees and the organization as a whole. This can help organizations create a more positive and fulfilling work environment, enhance employee engagement and well-being, and promote social responsibility and purpose-driven work.
Overall, this book can be a valuable resource for anyone interested in understanding the role of workplace spirituality in modern organizations, both from a theoretical and practical perspective.

Excerpt from the Book
Chapter 3: The Scientific Basis for Workplace Spirituality
One must first understand the concept of science from several angles in order to fully understand workplace spirituality. I offer three viewpoints in this chapter: Western, African, and Asian. Westerners view science as a rigorous, empirical process that collects knowledge about the cosmos and distills it into verifiable rules and principles. Afisi (2016: 59) and Kanu (2021: 80) contend that science is a collective human effort to comprehend the natural world and how it functions, with observable physical truths acting as the foundation for such comprehension. If scientists employ empirical facts to understand the cosmos so they can provide appropriate technical and logical solutions, then this is a fundamental process that exists in any reasonable and intellectually open society.
The idea that any attempt to globalize science, particularly from the perspective of Western science, will impose a certain criteria for determining what constitutes science on other non-Western nations is the main premise of the article. Afisi (2016) argues that such an endeavor would fail because it would ignore the presence of other forms of systematic indigenous knowledge that are distinct from Western science and employ significant indigenous research approaches. The accomplishments of numerous cultures over the millennia of human existence in numerous communities only serve to support the notion that indigenous science is founded on informed inquiries into the natural world.
