Businesses are leveraging technology to transform their operations, improve efficiency, and meet the evolving needs of customers. This involves adopting digital tools, cloud computing, and data analytics. Westerman et al (2014). Organizations ought to scrutinize their core competencies and then align with the digital shift. There will then be a need for developing new capabilities to cope up with the changing ecosystem business environment to give customers value from the point of marketing to service delivery as new players will get in the industry to disrupt.
