The excessive utilization, continual production, and irresponsible disposal of plastic products continue to be one of the leading factors in the deterioration of varying components of our societal routine, in other words, plastic pollution. Suspended Eco-Friendly Greenhouse Lamp (SEGL) aims to reduce the wastage of plastic materials, all within simple and affordable limits, for the general public and the poverty-struck provinces and rural communities where plastic pollution is at one of its highest. This study aims to achieve a healthier ecosystem, an improved socio-economic structure, and the progression of a better human mindset and livelihood, with an innovative product. A quantitative-descriptive research design was utilized in the study. The researchers utilize a researcher-made survey, which applies the 4-Point Likert Scale. The respondents are the teachers, and students from the University of Cebu, Pardo and Talisay, Inc. (UCPT). The finalized data showed that the product is an effective alternative based on its intended factors. From the resulting statistics, and observed data, in terms of the analyzed factors of its function, appeal, sustainability, and benefits it is highly effective. The researchers recommend to the future researchers to conduct more thorough comparisons and research so as to properly prove the effectiveness of the product.
