There is a major relationship between these two aspects: climate change and IPDs (Internal Displacement Persons) – as climate change is a major challenge for people who faced displacement and leave their shelters – which makes their living conditions worst and it leads result in diminishing the wellbeing of people. Moreover, it has been observed that the researcher has successfully contributed in accomplishing the research concern and attaining the effective results – while involving the role of international Humanitarian Law which is used to protect the needs of climate refugees/people displaced because of climate change – also, the UN Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement can be relevant for meeting the protection needs of people who have been displaced because of climate change. Moreover, the researcher has used critical discussion through effective and factful arguments in the literature review to accomplish the research purpose.
Moreover, the investigator involved the analytical and conceptual framework which highly plays a significant role in accomplishing the whole research as it included the concepts and theories which is relevant to the research matter. The researcher included IASC Framework on Durable Solutions for Internal Displaced Persons and the social framework of UNHCR in order to give a proper value to the section. On the other hand, the researcher uses secondary research for collecting data along with thematic/content analysis in order to analyse the research with effective concepts and accurately analysing the collected information.

Research Objectives and Themes
The primary objective of this research is to examine the significance of UN guiding principles in securing the needs of vulnerable populations facing internal displacement due to climatic changes, even while remaining within their home countries. The study explores the intersection of international humanitarian law and environmental factors to address the challenges faced by displaced persons.
- Correlation between climate change and internal displacement patterns.
- Role of international humanitarian law and UN principles in protection.
- Challenges faced by internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees.
- Effectiveness of UNHCR and inter-governmental frameworks in providing relief.
- Assessment of environmental factors causing long-term and short-term migration.
Excerpt from the Book
2.2. Impacts of Climate Change forces internal displacement
Clark and Bettini (2017: 36) stated that the people who are forced to leave their shelters and communities as the area is facing natural changes due to climate and environment are known as Internally displaced people – also, the people who faced the same situation but they cross the borders of their country and move to other countries in order to find opportunity or facilities for changing their living standard are known as refugees.
Climate change is an unfortunate thing that can occur anytime and any moment – which leads to result in harm and damage in many circumstances.
Additionally, Zuk et al. (2018: 31) observed that the major impacts of climate changes are increasing heat, insect outbreaks, droughts, wildfires, earthquakes, etc. which is directly affecting the lives of humans and the primary areas which get affected by the climate changes are water, food, health, and the environment which also brings health issues and concern. In addition, climate change has a huge impact on environmental factors and the living of people.
