This includes exploring alternative regulatory approaches, such as dynamic capital requirements that adjust based on credit rating agency performance (Merton, 1974), and evaluating the potential impact of technological advancements such as Artificial Intelligence on the CRA landscape (International Monetary Fund (IMF), 2013). By embracing a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation, the EU can ensure that its CRA framework remains effective, relevant, and future-proof, fostering a resilient and trustworthy financial system for generations to come.
