Competition is the core of the success or failure of a company. To enhance competitive advantage, a company should have effective and efficient management. Globalization and expanding international markets as well as the fast-growing middle and high income classes in many developing countries offer opportunities for developing country producers to operate in emerging national and international markets. This means that producers must gain better control over production, trade and distribution in order to guarantee the quality and value added of their products and to operate in a cost-effective way. The main goal of this study is to investigate the role of Value Chain management on the performance of of the Cameroon Development Corporation.
