Momentum political situation on the ground in Kosovo can be described as "position in a chess mat. De facto, Kosovo is an independent state in many ways, but de jury political prospects are dark integration. Facts on the ground give Kosovo the right to citizenship, and insist that the international community together to walk the roads that are part of the Euro-Atlantic integration. Development policies in Kosovo have been stuck arguing on developments in the region, will however, be good examples to follow in the region states state that these are in advance with these process integration. Challenges in institution building and transfer of powers to Kosovo institutions

Immediately after the war, the politics of Kosovo have shown important points that were filling the vacuum as plan and creating a government of Kosovo, which the government will be parallel with UNMIK, until these institutions are able to complete govern Kosovo. State structures in Kosovo was meant to create a protective force by the KLA, which the army would be transferred to the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC), which it was based on the Resolution 1244, UNMIK and where, created a protective political institutions within Kosovo.

Since the UNMIK mission in Kosovo began to be built and government institutions that half of June 1999 to be closer to the state government, this time the Security Council issued Resolution 1244, end now Independence of Kosovo was inevitable as an issue in the future.
