Excerpt from the Book
1.1 Background of the Study
According to Kehinde TK, Agwu (2015), information is a prearranged, expressive and suitable explanation of statistics whose foundation tries to offer us with the elementary tools for the creation of knowledge. According to them, using ICT abilities successfully and ingeniously can be significant to your goal attainment, whether you are concentrating on a proficient, healthcare, commercial, industrial, or service profession.
According to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), (2012) the oil explosion of the 1970s added meaningfully to the progression of the Nigerian economy in the 1970s but the growth was not continuous as a result of unguided disbursements or expenditure on unnecessary infrastructure. Consequently, the Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) was introduced in 1986 and other current economic transformations.
According to Ndukwe, (2014), Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) and other economic structural modifications were carried out to revive the Nigerian economy and support its increasing populace. Nevertheless, these economic transformations have not produced the desired impact because of numerous socio-economic problems threatening the nation.
