This research paper examines the influence of media on human sexuality, with particular focus on adolescents. It explores how traditional and digital media influence sexual attitudes, norms, behaviors and perceptions of sexuality. The literature review considers both positive and negative effects of media exposure, including the promotion of safe sex and consent as well as the risks associated with excessive exposure to sexual content. The paper also examines the role of social media, digital literacy and parental monitoring in shaping young people's experiences with sexual content. The discussion highlights concerns including risky sexual behavior, unrealistic sexual expectations, negative body image and harmful stereotypes. The paper concludes by emphasizing responsible media consumption, accurate sexual education and further research into media influence across different populations and cultural contexts.
