As an inquisitive nature of human being, searching new idea and solution is the key to the social problem. Field work is assumed as an integral part of social work education through which social worker able to solve social problems by applying theoretical knowledge. Field work increases the knowledge and skills of social worker with deep comprehension. For that purpose, as a part of my course plan, I was placed in UCEP-Bangladesh under the supervision of Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain to acquire practical skill to be a skilled social worker. As an apprentice social worker, I got the opportunity to practice school social work which is emerged to help drop-out students considering all aspects related to the origin, development, economic, cultural, adaptation problems etc. This report is my final report on my field practicum-containing all aspects from conceptual analysis to the duties performed in the agency. The report has been written to submit to my internal supervisor and agency supervisor. The agency may use it for reference purposes, evaluation of existing programs, limitation of the agency and checking out of future programs. Finally, both my internal supervisor and agency supervisor would find this report very useful to evaluate my performance in the agency.
My experiences from field practicum, the problems I faced during my field practicum and my recommendations to overcome these problems were includes in this book.
It will be a great reward if the book could serve the purpose, I have prepared it for, and the quality of field practicum in school setting could be developed by using the report.
