Cloud computing infrastructure models
The 3 basic models of cloud computing infrastructure models are
- public,
- private
- hybrid clouds.
Public cloud computing(fig 4)
Software from different customers is mixed together on the Public clouds which are run by third parties. They reduce customer risk, cost and are often hosted away from customer premises. A public cloud provides services to multiple customers.
Private Cloud (fig 5)
Private clouds are built for a specific client who has control over his own data, security and quality of services. The company owns the infrastructure and can deploy application the way they want. A private clouds may be hosted either in an enterprise datacenter, supported by the company , by a cloud provider or by a third party.
Hybrid Clouds (fig 6)
Hybrid clouds combine both public and private cloud models. They provide on demand, externally provision scale and used to handle a planned workload. Hybrid clouds determine how to distribute applications across both public and private cloud.
Technical side of PaaS
- PaaS is a platform which is being used by the developers to build software must faster and deploying as a SaaS application to end users.
- PaaS is used to develop Web and mobile applications using a wide array of components, ranging from programming languages and application servers to message queues and databases.
