Abstract or Introduction
It is a matter of fact that the movements of populations around the world and the search for new opportunities and safer living conditions were elements that contributed significantly to the formation and subsequent evolution of societies. However, the prevention of health problems for these vulnerable groups is considered to be particularly important, given the fact that these people have suffered and most likely did not even have had access to the health services they need. The purpose of this book is to study the most important health problems found in refugee centers and the wider refugee population, as well as what are the most important factors for their morbidity. Also, the present study aims to highlight methods of prevention of some of the most important diseases, with an emphasis on the coronavirus, which is a disease that has manifested strongly during the last six months, affecting almost the whole world and especially vulnerable populations. Finally, its purposes include the study of good practices on issues of prevention and management of diseases faced by refugees and migrants.
