Biographie

M.Sc. in Environmental studies and Resource management

I am passionate about the mountains and credits that to extensive travelling in the Himalayas extending till the highest mountain of Kashmir Mt. Kolohoi, Southern hill ranges of India and the Black Forest in Germany too. Over the past few years, I had the privilege of working in diverse places such as Sikkim Himalayas, Western Ghats, North-East and the temperate forests of Uttarakhand in India. I have been born and brought up in the Himalayas and am living my childhood dreams by working for mountains and its people. I am an avid backpacker, always keen to immerse myself in new cultures. I enjoy gardening, writing and learning local dialects.
I was awarded a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) fellowship for my master’s thesis (2014).
