Biographie

Tatek Deneke is a licensed health professional and consultant with over 15 years experience in public health research and teaching, program evaluation, monitoring and evaluation of health facilities and providing consultancy services. Served as Healthcare Institutions Inspection Officer, Lecturer, Public Health Researcher, Consultant, Evaluation Team Leader, and Quality Management Officer with international organizations, government, education and Health institutions. Earned Bachelor degree and masters degree from Addis Ababa University, College of Health Sciences. Furthermore served as Consultant for Tiko Africa, Triggerise Ethiopia, Jhpiego Ethiopia (HWIP-USAID), Management Sciences for Health (SIAPS-USAID), KIT Royal Tropical Institute-Netherlands; with programs funded by USAID, DFID/UK and Government of Netherlands, which were implemented at national and international level.
Has 5 publications and served as Reviewer for Springer Nature (USA) JOPPP, evaluated 2 research projects to ensure compliance with the journal quality requirements.

Earned certificate in Quality Improvement ( in 2019 from IHI, Boston USA), Programs Impact Evaluation Methods, Project Management, District Health Information Systems ( DHIS2) from University of Oslo Norway.

Programs and projects evaluated includes;

Adolescent SRHR services implemented in Ethiopia Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and South Africa.

Program: Quality of Reproductive Health Medicine; Project: Situation Analysis of Reproductive Health Medicine in four countries; Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal and Nepal.

Program: Health Workers Productivity Improvement Program (HWPI-E USAID)

Program: Systems for Improved Assess to pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS-USAID)

Program; Covax program implemented by MOH Ethiopia

National Nutrition Program which was implementated by Ministry of Health Ethiopia
