Biographie

Papa was born in The Gambia and studied Registered General Nursing (RGN) and State Certified Midwifery (SCM) at Gambia College, School of Nursing and Midwifery. He worked as a Junior Staff Nurse at Royal Victoria Hospital ( now call Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital) and Bansang Hospital for few years. He also taught at the School for Enrolled Nurses & Midwives (SEN) in Bansang for a few years before moving to the United Kingdom. He has experience working both in the National Health Services (NHS) and the private healthcare sector in the UK. His qualifications include Diploma in Modern Management & Administration, Diploma in Legal Aspects of Health Care from Stonebridge College UK, Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) Level 4 Award, Mentorship in Nursing & Midwifery and Teaching in Nursing Practice Level 3 from Paisley University (University of West of Scotland), BSc in Nursing Studies from Paisley University (University of West of Scotland), MSc in Clinical Education from The University of Edinburgh and MSc in International Development with speciality in Poverty, Inequality and Development from The University of Manchester.
