This research aims to show the perspective, consequences, and understanding of why lesbians interact with people using fake identities/profiles in social media. Lesbians are the “L” in the LGBT community who is attracted only to women. Researcher-filmmaker chose this kind of concept because of her personal experience with fabricated identity. Not only can lesbians make fake identities, but this study will also focus on how lesbians interact with fake identities in social media. In the researcher-filmmaker’s methodology, she interviewed the other opinions and perspectives of the lesbian creator of a fake profile. Her analysis will be guided by theoretical frameworks of Hyperrealism and Radical Feminism.
