Summary Excerpt Details

The main purpose of the study was to examine whether the self-regulated strategy development model make differences or not on students' writing skills and writing self-regulation. To this end, a quasi-expermental research design has been implemented. The study was conducted with the participation of 7th graders who were studying at the Empress Menen Primary School in Dessie City Administration, Amhara National Regional State in 2010. Out of the five sections, three sections were randomly selected and based on their pre-writing performance test and writing self-regulation questionnaire, two competing sections were selected. Of these two section, the experimental group (42 students) and the control group (43 students) with a total of 85 students participated in the study.

የጥናቱ ዋና ዓላማ ራስመር ብልሀት ግንባታ ሞዴል በተማሪዎች የመጻፍ ችሎታና ግለብቃት እምነት ላይ ልዩነት ማስከተል አለማስከተሉን መፈተሸ ነው፡፡ ይህን ዓላማ ለማሳካትም ፍትነት መሰል የጥናት ንድፍ ተግባራዊ ሆኗል። ጥናቱ በአማራ ብሄራዊ ክልላዊ መንግስት በደሴ ከተማ አስተዳደር በእቴጌ መነን አጠቃላይ የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ትምህርትቤት በ2010 ዓ.ም ይማሩ በነበሩ የሰባተኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች ተሳታፊነት የተከወነ ነው፡፡ በትምህርትቤቱ ከሚገኙ አምስት የሰባተኛ ክፍል ምድቦች መካከል ሶስት ምድቦች በተራ ዕጣ ናሙና ተመርጠው የቅድመትምህርት የመጻፍ ክሂል ችሎታ ፈተና በመፈተንና የመጻፍ ግለብቃት እምነት መጠይቅ በማስሞላት የመጻፍ ችሎታቸውና ግለብቃት እምነታቸው ተለክቶ ተመጣጣኝ ችሎታ ያላቸው ሁለት ምድቦች ተመርጠዋል፡፡ ከእነዚህ ሁለት ምድቦች መካከል ደግሞ በቀላል ተራ ዕጣ ናሙና አንደኛው ምድብ የሙከራ ቡድን (42 ተማሪዎች) እና ሌላኛው ምድብ ደግሞ የማመሳከሪያ ቡድን (43 ተማሪዎች) በጥቅሉ 85 ተማሪዎች የጥናቱ ተሳታፊ ሆነዋል፡፡ በትምህርቱም በራስመር ብልሀት ግንባታ ሞዴልና በተለመደው የመጻፍ ትምህርት አቀራረቦች ሁለቱ ቡድኖች የመጻፍ ትምህርትን ለ16 ክፍለጊዜያት ያክል ተምረዋል፡፡ የመጻፍ ትምህርቱ ከተሰጠ በኋላ ደግሞ ለሁለቱም ቡድኖች የድህረመጻፍ ትምህርት ፈተና በመፈተንና የመጻፍ ግለብቃት እምነት መጠይቅ በማስሞላት መረጃ ተሰብስቧል፡፡ መረጃዎቹም በአማካይ ውጤት፣ በመደበኛ ልይይት፣ በጥንድ ናሙናዎች ቲ-ቴስትና በአበርልይይት ተሰልተው ተተንትነዋል፡፡ የጥናቱ ግኝቶች እንዳመለከቱትም ራስመር ብልሀት ግንባታ ሞዴልን ተጠቅመው መጻፍን የተማሩት የሙከራ ቡድኑ ተማሪዎች የጽሁፍ ችሎታ (የጽሁፍ አላባዎች ብዛት p=0.000፣ የጽሁፍ ርዝማኔ p=0.000 ና የጽሁፍ ጥራት p=0.000) መሻሻል አሳይተዋል፡፡ ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ብልሀቱን ተጠቅመው መጻፍን የተማሩ የሙከራ ቡድኑ ተማሪዎች በምክንያትና ውጤት እና በተራኪ የአጻጻፍ ስልት የመጻፍ ችሎታ መካከል ጉልህ ልዩነት (የጽሁፍ አላባዎች ብዛት p=0.321፣ የጽሁፍ ርዝማኔ p=0.282 እና የጽሁፍ ጥራት p=0.179) አላሳዩም፡፡ በመጨረሻም በራስመር ብልሀት ግንባታ ሞዴል መጻፍን የተማሩ የሙከራ ቡድኑ ተማሪዎች ብልሃቱን ሳይጠቀሙ መጻፍን ከተማሩ የማመሳከሪያ ቡድኑ ተማሪዎች የበለጠ የመጻፍ ግለብቃት እምነት ለውጥ (p=0.003) አምጥተዋል፡፡ በመሆኑም ራስመር ብልሀት ግንባታ ሞዴልን ተጠቅሞ መጻፍን ማስተማር የተማሪዎችን የመጻፍ ችሎታና የመጻፍ ግለብቃት እምነት ያሻሽላል ከሚል ድምዳሜ ተደርሷል፡፡ ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ብልሃቱ ለሁሉም ዘውጎች እንደሚያገለግልና ከዘውግ ዘውግ ልዩነት እንደማይፈጥርም ድምዳሜ ላይ ተደርሷል፡፡ ከጥናቱ ግኝት በመነሳትም ስነትምህርታዊ የመፍትሄ ሀሳቦችና የወደፊት የምርምር አቅጣጫዎች ተመላክተዋል፡፡
