Resumen o Introducción
Josef Reding's short story "Generalvertreter Ellebracht begeht Fahrerflucht" on a hit-and-run case is a classical German short story and therefore an ideal subject to demonstrate means and procedures of literary interpretation.
This short essay, an analysis of narrative and rhetorical devices (such as interior monologue or parallelism), has been conceived as a model interpretation for students of German as a foreign language. Didactic information to help students find their way through a similar task in the field of literary interpretation has been added.
