This project presented a unique set of challenges to the GTP committee I chaired. The challenge came about die to the fact this competition was the first ever project that necessitated more focus on a daily basis since we were involved in the project’s lifetime, right from its conception, execution to completion. To add on the scope of works, our patron had urged us to design the event to enable for more engagement of the public, something that has never been done in the history of Let's Rock Climbing Competition. The following list comprises of several major issues that my team and I encountered, that had a significant influence on the success of our project: Managing the expectations of external stakeholders, completing activities within the period allotted determining the ultimate budget from both the customer and the sponsors.
