This paper can be useful for space companies to study the current state of the market and opportunities in the UK market, as well as for everyone who studies the space industry. It provides an overview of the UK space market as of the end of 2021 and it would be relevant for the next 2-3 years at least. The new UK space strategy has been studied, resulting in a brief description of the projects that will be financed under this program. The enlarged organizational structure of the UK space sector, including Scotland, as well as main and alternative sources of funding for space projects in the UK, have been considered. The main existing space technologies presented in the UK, have been reviewed.
