This investigation will explore the question: To what extent did the Boston Tea Party influence the American Revolution? The events leading up to and following the Boston Tea Party, especially the year 1773, will be the focus of the investigation, as they, on the one hand, provide an explanation for the Colonist's actions and, on the other hand, illustrate the effect of the Boston Tea Party, therefore playing a pivotal role in answering my research question.
As I have been to Boston many times, and witnessed the revival of the Tea Party, I was curious to fully understand its importance and impact on the American cause.
