The "New Work" movement aims to modernize SAP's operations, and while the company is already making great steps toward becoming a "New Working" company, there are still a number of obstacles to overcome.

As we have learned by now, the movement places strong importance on flexibility, innovation, and the well-being of employees. SAP is extremely committed to the movement and is taking several steps to make a “New Working” environment a reality. However, merging the different agenda clusters of the movement, motivating employees to come to the office, and the high costs of implementation are major obstacles that SAP still has to overcome.

Combining all of the numerous clusters into a seamless and comprehensive work movement is one of the major issues SAP is facing. Each cluster has a unique set of goals and objectives, and it is SAP's responsibility to make sure that all of these goals are achieved in an organized way. This is a difficult task, as the different clusters have different needs, and SAP must find a way to make them all work together.

Another issue that SAP faces is motivating employees to come to the office. SAP has to find a way to encourage employees to come in, as the actual presence of employees in the office is essential to the company's success. The idea of the "New Work" movement teaches us that the days of large office buildings with huge spaces are over. The new world of work favors smaller, modern, brighter offices that are centrally located. SAP is already doing its best to renovate or even build new working locations based on these standards to motivate more employees to do their work on premises.
