This study analyzes the feasibility of implementing Just in Time (JIT) and Just in Case (JIC) inventory management strategies at the Price Shoes Aguascalientes branch, with the aim of reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This research was conducted using an applied, quantitative, and descriptive approach, applying surveys to warehouse, assortment, storage, and operations personnel, supplemented by a literature review. The results show that the JIT model reduces storage costs, while JIC ensures availability, although it involves higher expenses. Eighty-six percent of participants consider that the best alternative is a hybrid model, which applies JIC for critical items and JIT for high-turnover products, supported by forecasting and technological tools. The conclusion is that the combination of both systems allows for a balance between efficiency and resilience, contributing to the competitiveness of the retail sector.
