Was wäre, wenn Raumzeit nicht nur die Bühne der Physik wäre, sondern selbst der Stoff, aus dem Materie entsteht?
Die Allgemeine Relativitätstheorie beschreibt sehr erfolgreich, wie Materie und Energie die Raumzeit krümmen. Sie sagt aber nicht, woraus diese krümmungsfähige Raumzeit besteht. Mein Modell versucht genau dort anzusetzen. Es fragt nicht nur, wie die Geometrie aussieht, sondern wie sie entstehen könnte.

This essay presents a speculative but intuitive model in which spacetime is not a passive background but an elastic quantum gel. Matter is interpreted as stable, locally condensed string-like structures of spacetime itself. Virtual particles are short-lived transition modes of this gel. Photons and gravitational waves are massless propagating modes, while neutrinos may represent the smallest stable defect states of the spacetime substrate.
The model does not aim to replace general relativity in its verified domain. Instead, it asks how the geometry described by general relativity might emerge from a deeper microscopic structure. Lorentz invariance is therefore treated as a necessary correspondence condition in the low-energy and weak-curvature limit. Possible deviations are expected only in extreme regimes, such as strong curvature, black-hole interiors, or near classical singularities.
The central idea is simple: spacetime geometry may be the macroscopic appearance of an underlying quantum-elastic structure. Matter, gravity, virtual particles, and perhaps even neutrino masses could then be understood as different organizational forms of the same underlying spacetime substrate.
