Excerpt from the Book
4.2. The Final Concept
Breville’s new Click and Drain convenience pot is designed with two ergonomically shaped handles, the first, long handle can be clicked off to expose water-draining holes positioned low on the side of the pot, meaning that the pot does not need to be tipped up in order to be drained. Working on a basic locking system, this watertight handle can be either clicked on/off or locked in place with ease. On the opposite side a ‘C’-shaped handle runs vertically like that of a teapot, for easy tilting when draining off the last remaining dregs of water. The Click and Drain is crafted in brushed stainless steel, and is made with a Quantanium™ non-scratch, non-stick interior. The glass Cook and Look™ lid of the new Click and Drain pot can be locked on with a simple turn to ensure that it does not fall off while the straining is in action, and also has steam holes to avoid unnecessary pressure build-ups.
