This is an action-research study on the affectivity level of a co-instructional approach in relation to adult learners. Co-instruction is a collaborative means of two instructors to satisfy the needs of learners. This is a popular approach upon recent decades, especially for disabled learners. Yet, its affectivity towards adult learners have never been sought after; until now. The topic of this study is how effective is a co-instructional approach in relation to adult learners. 20 participants, adult learners of CBT College Cutler Bay and one other instructor was selected for this study. Data collection method includes applications, pre-assessments, post-assessments and surveys. After a data comparison of both assessments and tabulated survey results, the determination of how beneficial this approach is to adult learners is finally reached.

Chapter Summaries
Chapter 1: Topic and Problem: This chapter introduces the research topic focusing on the effectiveness of co-instruction for adult learners. It establishes the problem statement, highlighting the gap in research regarding this approach with adult learners. The chapter defines the significance of the problem, explores potential causes for the lack of research, and formulates research questions guiding the study. The importance of addressing this gap in improving adult education is clearly articulated.
Chapter 2: Review of the Literature: This chapter presents a comprehensive review of existing literature relevant to co-instruction and adult learning. It explores various theoretical frameworks and prior research on collaborative teaching methods, focusing specifically on studies related to adult education. The chapter synthesizes best practices and existing knowledge to create a robust foundation for the research study. It identifies gaps in research and areas where further investigation is needed, contextualizing the current study within the broader field of educational research.
Chapter 3: Methodology: This chapter details the research design and methodology employed in the study. It describes the participants, the data collection methods (applications, pre- and post-assessments, surveys), and the procedures used for data analysis. The chapter explains the chosen research design, its strengths and weaknesses, and addresses issues of validity, reliability, and data integrity, ensuring the rigor and trustworthiness of the research findings. Specific consideration is given to the adaptation of methods for the study population.
Chapter 4: Findings: This chapter presents the results of the data analysis, providing a comprehensive overview of the findings. It details the data-driven findings, presenting the key results and their implications. The chapter then directly answers the research questions posed in Chapter 1, connecting the findings to the research objectives and hypotheses (if any). The summary section ties together the various findings into a coherent narrative, emphasizing the key insights gained from the study.
