According to instructor feedback: This is an excellent essay offering a sustained discussion of the different approaches to grammar instruction. The essay starts well with useful definitions and a lucid discussion of PPP and TBL and Lexical Approach, that is accompanied by specific classroom examples. The critique of each of the methods is one of the most successful moments in the essay. There is confidence when dealing with newer approaches e.g. Lexical Approach, where the discussion is clear and sustained with good research and classroom examples analysed.
