The work examines the role of National Industrial Court of Nigeria in disputes resolution with the aim of highlighting the functions and challenges facing the court and its implication for the country as a means of promoting industrial harmony both for foreign investments and the domestic economy.
The examination isolated the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja in order to have access to relevant information and its proximity to the researcher. The research is guided by four research questions designed to establish the essence, raison d’être and challenges facing the court. The examination has a general objective to examine the activities of NIC of Nigeria in dispute resolution.
