Quran is a complete book covering all aspect of life, spiritual, political, intellectual, social, economic, scientific. The scientific facts in the Quran has been discovered through scientific knowledge. The aim of this paper is to identify and discuss a great technology in the Quran which may contributes to the advancement of science and technology. This paper presents the equipment used by Dhul Qarnain to travel from one ends of the earth to the other. Dhul Qarnain flying technology has been identified as small or only holds one person and it is 4.6 km/m fast.

Research Objectives and Themes
This paper aims to identify and analyze a specific technology described in the Quran regarding the travels of Dhul Qarnain. By examining the narrative of his journeys, the study seeks to estimate the operational speed and capacity of his transportation equipment, while exploring how such historical technological accounts can contribute to modern scientific discourse.
- The intersection of Quranic narrative and ancient technological potential.
- Estimation of travel distance and speed of Dhul Qarnain’s equipment.
- Analysis of the technical methodology used in constructing historical barriers.
- Evaluation of the logistical implications of global travel without a traditional army.
Excerpt from the Book
Dhul Qarnain’s Flying Equipment
If we look at the technique, he used to fill the gap between the two mountain cliffs. First, he filled the gap with blocks of iron and heated until it becomes red. And then pour over it the molten copper. As Gog and Magog has power to mischief the land and oppress the people but they could not penetrate the barrier Dhul Qarnain build that shows how the barrier was huge. However, Dhul Qarnain faces no difficulties to pour the molten copper over it. This indicates that Dhul Qarnain has some technology to fly into the sky and he might use the same technology to travel from one end of the earth to the other. Therefore, let us identify the length he traveled and the time he has taken to reach from the east to the west.
According to the Quran, he traveled to the west (sunset) and found the sun setting in a spring of black muddy water. Many scholars of Islam have, over the ages, identified that the black muddy water described in the verse to be the Black Sea [7].
He then traveled to the east (sunrise) and found the sun rising on the people whom Allah provided no shelter against the sun. When Qatadah mention about the second journey of Dhul Qarnain said, “It was mention to us that they were in a land where nothing grew, so when the sun rose they would go into tunnels until it has passed its zenith, then they would come out to go about their daily lives and earn themselves a living” [9]. Based on this, we have identified a desert to the east edge of the earth on which nothing grows. Dallol is identified to be the second travel end of Dhul Qarnain as even until now the way of life of the people are very similar to the people described in the verses of the Quran. Therefore, now we can know the distance Dhul Qarnain had traveled. The distance between Dallol (Afar, Ethiopia) and the Black Sea is around 3,292 km.
Summary of Chapters
1. Introduction: This chapter introduces the historical relationship between Islamic scholars and the development of science, while outlining the study's objective to examine technology within the Quran.
2. Scientific Facts in the Quran: This section presents various scientific claims found in the Quran, such as the origins of the universe and biological development, to establish the text's alignment with modern knowledge.

This paper focuses on the technological aspects found within the Quranic story of Dhul Qarnain, specifically investigating the nature of his transportation methods.
What are the central themes discussed in the work?
The central themes include the integration of religious narrative with scientific inquiry, the historical contributions of Muslim scholars to science, and the identification of advanced technical capabilities in ancient history.
What is the core objective or research question of the paper?
The primary objective is to analyze the mobility of Dhul Qarnain to determine if his travel story suggests the possession of advanced flying technology.
Which scientific methodology is applied in this study?
The author uses a descriptive and analytical approach, combining historical Quranic interpretation with geographical distance calculation to estimate the speed and efficiency of the described equipment.
What topics are covered in the main body of the text?
The main body examines scientific references in the Quran, provides a detailed exegesis of the story of Dhul Qarnain, and performs a calculation of speed based on the estimated distance between geographic landmarks.
Which keywords best characterize this research?
Key terms include The Quran, Dhul Qarnain, Flying Equipment, Technology, and Ancient Engineering.
How is the speed of Dhul Qarnain's equipment calculated in the study?
The author calculates the speed by dividing the estimated distance of 3,292 km between Dallol and the Black Sea by the travel time of 12 hours, resulting in approximately 4.6 km/minute.
What evidence supports the theory that Dhul Qarnain had advanced technology?
The author argues that the ability to travel between extreme ends of the earth and the construction of a massive barrier without a traditional standing army implies the use of sophisticated, albeit non-traditional, technology.
