Resumen o Introducción
Ethiopia is a multi-national country and follows a decentralized governance structure. The country has launched a decentralized governance structure with the hope of enhancing democratic system and public participation; improving the living standard of the population due to the conviction that decentralization can bring development., and accommodating diversity with a view to maintain a lasting peace.
The details about the structure of the country governance, the characteristics of the governance structure and opportunities offered, and challenges faced by the existing governing structure is presented in the following discussion paper.
