Résumé ou Introduction
Only a few days ago Estonia joined the euro system, but scarcely anybody is interested in the admittance of the Baltic country: Hardly a day goes by without news about the euro crisis, further indebted countries and possible solutions out of the disaster. As the European Central Bank plays an important role in the current crisis, I’ll give an insight into the financial body of the European Union in the following text.
The Federal Reserve System is the central banking system of the United States of America. Located in Washington, D.C, it was founded in 1913 as a response to the financial crisis 1907. Its chairman is Ben Bernanke.
