Dr. James O. Mbakpuo

James O. Mbakpuo holds Six Sigma Master Black Belt in Human Resources and Quality Management and also holds a diverse range of academic qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Management Sciences, a Master's in Business Economics and Management, an MBA, LLM, MPA, and a Ph.D. in Innovation Economics. His professional roles extend to being an educator and a dedicated proponent for driving economic transformation, productivity, and diversification, particularly within the context of West Africa and African economic integration. Additionally, he is deeply committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals agenda for 2030. Mr. Mbakpuo has a substantial body of work, comprising numerous articles on these subjects, and actively collaborates with academic institutions and non-governmental organizations with the goal of fostering a new economy firmly grounded in knowledge, productivity, and innovation while aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Furthermore, he is affiliated with notable organizations such as the Association of Professional Futurists, the Nigerian Economic Society, the Institute of Information Management Nigeria-Africa, and the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria. Currently, he is in the process of creating an upcoming book titled "Environmental Economic Sustainability and the Prospects for Africa." In addition to his extensive roles, he serves as an economic reform advisor.
