About the Author:
Engr. Dr. Ishaka Mohammad Shuaibu was born in Abocho, Dekina L.G.A of Kogi State-Nigeria on the 26th of December, 1988. He is a Chartered Project Manager (CPM), a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), member of other professional bodies such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET) and the Global Institute of Project Management (GIPM, UK).
The young man is the M.D/C.E.O of SIM-COBRE CONSULTANTS & ENGINEERING SERVICES, a company whose head office is located in Sokoto State-Nigeria. SIM-COBRE is into renewable energy solutions (solar and others), building constructions, carpentry/furniture, interior decorations, EIA, as well as general engineering services and supplies.
He obtained his Ph.D. Degree in Renewable Energy from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS)-Nigeria in 2024, same university where he bagged his Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in the same Renewable Energy in 2018 at Distinction Level (4.50/5.00 CGPA). He did his first degree at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi-Nigeria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering at Second Class (Hons.) Upper Division Level in 2012 with several academic awards as a result of his good academic performance.
Engr. Dr. I. M. Shuaibu has published over 7 academic papers in different journals with several conference attendance/presentations and currently working on many others.
He was one time the President of the Legal Aid Council/NYSC Community Development Service and the Asset Maintenance Officer of the Muslim Corpers' Association of Nigeria (MCAN), Bauchi State Chapters during his service year in 2014 which earned him several prizes/certificates of award.
He is currently the Group Technical Manager/Head of Engineering with Telinno Consulting Limited, managing Telecoms projects in 8 Africa countries viz Nigeria, Niger, Cameron, Cote 'Divoire, Mali, South Africa, Liberia & Togo.
His research interest is Renewable Energy Technologies.
