NKOPURUK, Imikan Nseobong is a Lecturer in the Department of Arts Education at the University of Abuja, Nigeria. Before joining the University of Abuja, he was in the advanced stages of a doctoral programme in English at Solarin University of Education. His appointment at the University of Abuja marked a transition in his academic career, leading him to pursue another PhD in Language Education, where he specialises in classroom discourse, particularly on interaction, power relations, and meaning negotiation in higher education. His research interests include classroom discourse analysis, digital pedagogy, teacher education, English language teaching, English stylistics, educational technology, and artificial intelligence in education. He has published widely in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals, with growing contributions to digital humanities, language education, and innovative pedagogical practices.

Imikan’kopuruk is a making-authority in English and Literary Studies; the sociopolitical activist holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in English Education from two Universities in Nigeria, Uyo and Solarin, Ogun.
