Mandy Shaver, PhD, enjoys research, challenges as an athlete, appreciating the outdoors, and living in beautiful Whanganui.
She received a PhD Anthropology from University of Waikato.
She received a MS Sport and Recreation, top of her graduating class, specializing in leisure studies from George Mason University.
She received a BA History and a BA Anthropology, both with honors, and a minor in women and gender studies from George Mason University.
She is also an experienced and recognized yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), training instructors and coaching students from many parts of the world.
She aspires to be wise and live well.
