Dr Gennaro Tallini

He holds a PhD in philology from the University of Verona and is a former professor of Italian literature at the same university. Having completed his studies in piano, composition and harpsichord and ancient keyboards under the guidance of M. Salcito, he graduated in aesthetics at the un. of Cassino and Lazio Meridionale and is director of the publishing series 'Studi Aurunchi' (ISSN 2724-413X) by Ali Ribelli and of 'La Stanza Segreta di Musica', which publishes critical editions of ancient music works for viola da gamba. He has edited several studies on Renaissance antiquarianism and printing, on music between the 19th and 20th centuries and several critical editions of musical and literary texts. He is part of the research unit of the 'Fenaroli Project' (coordinator: M. Salcito) and coordinator of the re-organisation project of the Music Fund of the Diocesan Archive of Gaeta.
