Nino Fabrizio Hein

He first approached this field in a behavioural study of moral self-licensing, asking why people depart from the consistency that economic models attribute to them. His most recent work, published in 2026, transfers that question to the capital market and to the role that generative language models assume in the formation of judgement. It asks whether the pre-shaping of the model through prompt framing, together with its probability-based way of generating language, gives rise to bias dynamics that can be reduced neither to the investor's cognitive disposition nor to the workings of the system alone. The study develops an analytical framework of attenuation, reproduction and transformation and situates AI-assisted investment decisions within a socio-technical process in which the epistemic status of a judgement and its attributability themselves become open questions.
