Using historical case studies, it analyzes policy responses and explores strategies for mitigating economic disruptions caused by geopolitical uncertainty.
This essay argues that geopolitical risks pose significant and multifaceted threats to the global economy, manifesting in disrupted trade flows, increased market volatility, and long-term reductions in economic growth, necessitating proactive risk management strategies by governments and businesses. To support this argument, the essay will proceed as follows: First, it will provide a conceptual framework for understanding the various types of geopolitical risks and their potential economic consequences.
