It details the humanitarian crisis caused by the blockade in Gaza, movement restrictions, and repeated escalations of violence. The chapter emphasizes the destruction of Gaza's infrastructure, the collapse of its health system due to repeated attacks on medical facilities, and the significant losses suffered by the private sector. The chapter concludes by defining the research problem, focusing on the escalating tensions and the humanitarian implications for Palestinian civilians.
