Kenneth Bacala

Biography

Kenneth, a public high school teacher for over 6 years, is presently teaching at Himamaylan National High School and designated as Grade 11 Coordinator. He sits as the representative of HBONI to the Provincial Youth Development Council of Negros Occidental. Further, he is collaborating with the Local Government Units on his community projects and initiatives since 2017.

In 2017, Kenneth was one of the delegates of the National Young Teachers' Boot Camp held at UPLB Laguna. In the same year, he has been an advocate for SDG which made him participate in the SDG Young Leaders Conference in General Santos City. Also, he was selected as one of the Fellows of the Future Bridging Leaders Program 3 of the Asian Institute of Management in 2019.

In his leadership engagement, Kenneth has implemented various community projects such as PAGbASA: May Pag-asa sa Pagbasa, HomeAid project, Lead for Hope project, and Liwa Project focusing on capacitating the children, teachers, parents and community members in different areas in the province of Negros Occidental.

About Me

A public secondary school teacher at Himamaylan National High School in Negros Occidental. He is teaching Senior High School students in different strands. He is an active youth leader and advocate for quality education.
