Biography
JOSEPH PETER YAW-KAN is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Languages at the Gambaga College of Education. He holds an M.Phil degree in Literature in English from the University of Education, Winneba, (UEW). He also holds a Master of Art degree in Literature in English from the Cape Coast University, (UCC), BEd degree in English Literature (Secondary Education) from the Valley View University, Techiman (VVU), and a Diploma in Basic Education with Literature as Specialisation from the Evangelical Presbyterian College of Education, Bimbilla.
His research interests include:Studies in Literature and Folklore, the syntax and semantics of Anufɔ language, Literary Studies and stylistics.
He has published in both peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally. He is a member of the Linguistics Association of Ghana (LAG) and the Literature Association of Ghana (LitAG).
He is a faculty member in the Department of Languages.
