Biography

Enie Valery Elive was born on the 30th of December 1997 in Buea, Fako Division South West Region of Cameroon. He completed primary, secondary, and higher education in his hometown before moving to the Gambia in 2021 in pursuit of a qualification to attain the status of a legal practitioner.

The author was admitted to the Gambia Law School in 2021 and was admitted as barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Gambia on February 6, 2023. Enie Esq holds a Master's Degree in International Law from the University of Buea and an LL.B from the same University.

The author currently serves as a legal advisor at Greening Forward and as Operations Manager at Flowmax Company Limited. In the past, he worked as Independent Trial Monitor for the American Bar Association, and Center for Human Rights, as a Research Assistant at Legends Human Rights Foundation, and Paralegal and Veritas Law Offices. Enie Esq is a pioneer member of the Cameroon Youth Mediators Network and has an extensive background in peacebuilding and development studies.
