PV Manager | Renewable Energy & Microgrid Expert | EPC Project Specialist
Rehan Jamil is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, specializing in large-scale solar power projects, microgrid solutions, and hybrid PV + energy storage systems. With a strong background in electrical and optical engineering, he has extensive experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for utility-scale solar, industrial applications, and sustainable energy solutions across various sectors, including mining, manufacturing, agriculture, and commercial industries.
He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical (Electronics) Engineering from Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan (2009) and a Master’s degree in Optical Engineering from Yunnan Normal University, Kunming, China (2011–2014), funded by the CSC Chinese Government Scholarship. During his academic tenure, he contributed significantly to scientific research, publishing 15 peer-reviewed research papers and two Google e-books in international journals, including IEEE and SCI-indexed conferences. Additionally, he was actively involved in China's National and International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Projects (Grant No. 2011DFA60460) at Yunnan Normal University.
Rehan is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Professionally, he has held key leadership positions in the renewable energy industry. He previously served as a Project Manager at TBEA Xinjiang SunOasis Co., Ltd., where he managed large-scale EPC solar projects. Currently, he is the PV Manager at SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, Saudi Arabia, spearheading the development of solar power and energy storage solutions tailored for carbon-neutral mining operations, industrial zones, agricultural applications, and commercial/utility-scale deployments. His expertise lies in developing, executing, and optimizing solar energy projects, integrating hybrid renewable energy solutions, and driving strategic energy transition initiatives in the Middle East market.
