Biografía

Dr. Louie Gomabon-Sanlad is a Master Teacher I at Mayor A.S. Fortuna Memorial Elementary School, under the Department of Education (DepEd) Mandaue City Division, Region VII – Cebu, Philippines. Since joining DepEd in 2016, he has demonstrated consistent excellence in teaching, research, and program implementation, leading initiatives that enhance learner performance and instructional innovation. Prior to his current post, he served as Teacher III and Teacher I in the same institution and earlier taught at Benedicto College, where he handled basic education subjects. Beyond his full-time teaching role, he also works as a Part-Time College Instructor at La Consolacion College Liloan, mentoring pre-service teachers in education-related courses.

Dr. Sanlad holds a Bachelor in Elementary Education from Mindanao State University. He finished his Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision from Cebu Technological University. At the same university, he graduated Doctor of Philosophy in Technology Management and Doctor in Development Education. He has been studied only two years for Bachelor of Laws at SWU and is currently pursuing another advanced study at CTU for Doctor of Public Administration. His academic achievements are complemented by professional credentials such as passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers and the Fire Officer Examination. His research interests include educational technology integration, literacy intervention, strategic management in education, and public administration. Over the years, he has authored and presented research works such as Optimizing ICT Integration Across Sectors (2025), Exploring Digital Reading Support (2025), and Technology Assistive Instruction (2021).

A multi-awarded educator, Dr. Sanlad has been recognized as the Division Most Outstanding Program Implementer, Exemplary Teacher in Research and Development, Most Outstanding Elementary Teacher, and International Outstanding Educator. His leadership extends to serving as Research Mentor, Panelist, Adjudicator, and Resource Speaker in various academic and professional engagements. He is an active member of the Center for Human Research and Development Foundation, Inc. and continues to advocate for the integration of research, innovation, and technology in Philippine basic education. His professional journey reflects his commitment to fostering transformative teaching practices and advancing the quality of public education.
