How to increase your fee:
Get a bonus on every e-book sale by fulfilling one or more of these three options.
Early Bird
You publish your text within six months of submitting it to the university/college.
Loyalty Bonus
You publish your sixth text (or more) with GRIN.
English Boost
You publish a text in English.
You can combine the three options however you like.
- If you meet the requirements for one bonus, you will receive a fee of up to 35%.
- If you meet the requirements for two bonuses, you will receive a fee of up to 40%.
Why is there the “early bird” advantage?

- We would like to thank you for your loyalty and inspire you to upload even more texts.
- Your advantage: The chances of your texts selling increase, the more texts you have available in our shop.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to do anything when I upload my text, or will I receive my bonus automatically?
You don’t have to do anything else to receive your fee bonus. Our editorial team takes care of everything.
What happens if I meet the requirements for all three bonuses? Will I get more?
No, you can reach a maximum of 40%, which happens by combining any two bonuses.
Does the fee bonus also apply to sales of physical books?
Yes, you can increase your fee on physical book sales by 20% with the bonuses.
When will I receive my fee?
Your fee statement will be distributed quarterly, as usual. You will receive the statement by e-mail about six weeks after the end of each quarterly period; it details all of your sales. You can find more information on all topics related to fees in our FAQ.
Does my bonus expire retroactively if the requirement is no longer met?
Once your texts are published, your loyalty and early bird bonus can no longer expire.
